Blue Ridge Curlies has been concentrating for several years on building a high quality foundation herd of Curly Horses. Focussing on conformation and temperament, we have now reached the point at which we are willing to sell some of our curly horse herd with the Blue Ridge name attached to them.
We currently have several curly horses for sale at this time. We also have a few non-curlys that have come to us through clients looking to rehome a horse. Our horses have various levels of training and abilities. Contact us to find more details.
How We Price Our Horses
Our horses have a base price of $1500. Horses that have been started (with at least 30 days training including rides through trails, water, and traffic) start at $1800. Costs go up from there based on the training, skills, and abilities of the horse. Non-curly horses being sold are priced outside of these guidelines as our priority is to have them placed in a suitable home. We will gladly start any of these horses for you if they have not already been started for $400.
Purchasing A Blue Ridge Horse
All purchases must be paid in full before a horse leaves the property. You can pay via cash or certified cheque. Purchase plans are also availalble. You can purchase a horse on a purchase plan by dividing the total cost of the horse by the number of payments you wish to make. Once an initial down payment is made you are also responsible for an additional $80 a month for board plus farrier costs and vet costs (should any arise).
